today I read that you won the 1st prize at Oxford’s Brookes Univ. Congratulations! For sure it’s not your first time to rank among the winners of a poetry contest but this 1st prize is special: ‘Grief Is a Man With Many Gifts’ for me is an eternal piece, so strong that it will not leave any of its readers untouched. And how about me? Well, I feel blown away – away by the cruelty your young eyes have witnessed and highly impressed by the confidence your heart harbours still. Carry on, lad – you’ve got great potential!
