J. Bish was born in North Carolina, A constant lover of all things in nature, he began taking pictures of landscapes and skylines upon moving out of the city and into the Pacific Northwest mountains. He specializes in a whatever-catches-his-eye approach to his art and appreciates the art of simplicity.
