Issue No.7
In my early professional life, I worked as a commercial photographer for several large home furnishings studios. The work was satisfying, but I wasn’t passionate about commercial photography. Earlier, while taking high school photography and creative photography classes at NC State and Randolph Community College, I had felt moments of creative passion.
After 7 years in the studio, I branched out into interactive multi-media. There I found a passion for new media, specifically video, computer graphics and songwriting. But soon I was involved in managing projects and client relationships. For the past 20 years, I’ve made a living as an IT project manager. About six years ago, I caught the shutterbug again and started taking pictures again with my wife’s DSLR. Since then, I’ve purchased my own full-frame DSLR and have committed myself to becoming the best fine art photographer I can be. Once again, I’m passionate about photography.
It great to see you back behind the camera and well done.
I’m a photographer also and I’m trying to find my niche where I can be happy in my job and make a living.
I live in Ireland and my daughter lives in Seattle Washington.
I’d love it if you have any good advice
Warm regards
